Firefighter 1 & 2

This course is based on the learning objectives established by the International Fire Services Training Association (IFSTA). These objectives have been further modified by the South Carolina Fire Academy to meet the needs of the South Carolina fire service. Students successfully completing the Firefighter 1 & 2 courses have the opportunity to earn certification leading to a career in the firefighting field.
