WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- As part of Career and Technical Education Month, the Lexington Two Innovation Center invites families to an open house Thursday, February 17, to learn more about program offerings.
The open house and career and technology showcase is set for 6-7:30 p.m. at the Innovation Center, 509 Bulldog Blvd., off the 12th Street Extension in Cayce.
The state-of-the-art 110,000-square-foot facility houses a number of college and career readiness programs for high schoolers as well as dual enrollment and Early College courses.
At the Innovation Center, students have an opportunity to earn professional certifications in several programs while still in high school, saving families hundreds or even thousands on post-graduation training. Lexington Two also offers a career pathways partnership with Midlands Technical College for academic or exemption credits in select programs.
