WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Following a meeting with the National Weather Service moments ago regarding the earlier than expected arrival in our area of inclement weather, Lexington Two schools will move up today’s early dismissal: 11 a.m. for elementary schools, 12 p.m. for middle/high schools.
All after-school activities/programs on Friday are canceled, including athletic events and practices, extracurricular activities, after-school programs, Boys and Girls Clubs, and adult education classes. Coaches and schools will reach out directly to families and athletes regarding the status of any previously scheduled Saturday, January 11 events. (Of note, the archery tournament previously scheduled for this weekend at Busbee Creative Arts Academy has been rescheduled for March 21-22. Also, the Junior Bowl at Airport High School has been rescheduled for January 17-19).
