WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Did you know that Lexington Two offers programs that let students earn college credit – at no cost – while attending our high schools?
The Early College and Dual Enrollment programs are in partnership with Midlands Technical College. Read more about them here:
Early College Freshman Cohort
For: Current ninth-grade students
The Early College Freshman Cohort allows students to take free college courses, with an opportunity to earn an associate degree and potentially enter a 4-year college or university with as much as half of their bachelor's degree already completed, at no cost.
The Early College Freshman Cohort requires a three-year commitment.
Dual Enrollment
For: Rising 11th and 12th grade students
The Dual Enrollment program for rising 11th and 12th grade students allows eligible high school students to take two college courses each semester of their junior and senior years, with the courses counting as both college and high school credit. Students can complete as many as 8 college courses and earn 24 college credits.
The application deadline for both programs is Friday, March 8.
